Carlé Scott Gerber
Carlé is Director and Founder of Life-U.
She studied architecture at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in South Africa, where she graduated with first class honours along with receiving an award for her final year project. She is registered as an architect, both in the United Kingdom and South Africa. She started her architectural career in 2002 working for Foster and Partners in London and has since worked for a number of different practices in the United Kingdom. This gave her a varied and well rounded experience, especially in the design of luxury interiors. The projects she worked on range from master planning and mixed used developments to high end luxury residential. She designed luxury interiors built to a high level of specification and worked on large Grade II listed buildings that were converted into luxury apartments and homes in the heart of Knightsbridge, Sloan square, Richmond and Belgravia.
One of her major achievements has been Meridian Quay in Swansea, where she was project architect for a 29 storey tower. The Meridian Quay tower forms a centre piece of a major mixed use development with 291 residential units.
